Seven regions, 450 vintage cars of 72 different car manufacturers, over 200 locations across Italy crossed in 4 days: these are the numbers of the 2018 edition of the Millemiglia, 36th historical re-enactment of the iconic race disputed between 1927 and 1957 scheduled for Wednesday 16, and therefore one day in advance of tradition, on Saturday 19 May.

Among the towns and villages crossed by the Mille Miglia there are Sirmione, Mantua, Ferrara, Ravenna on the first day; San Marino, Arezzo, Orvieto and Amelia the second; the lake of Vico, Siena, San Miniato, Lucca and Pietrasanta the third; and finally, Piacenza, Lodi, Milan and Bergamo, the fourth and last day, for a total of 112 time trials, and 6 for the hourly average. A route that winds through some of the most picturesque views of the Stivale, and that will end Saturday afternoon after the passage inside the renovated Alfa Romeo Historical Museum and the Autodromo di Monza.

Among the cars that will participate in the race, 99 participated in at least one of the 24 original editions of the Mille Miglia, from the Alfa Romeo 6C Gran Turismo Zagato of 1931 to the 8C 2900 Botticella of 1936, passing through the Aston Martin DB 2/4 of the 1953, the Ferrari 340 America Spider Vignale of 1952 was 500 Mondial Spider Pinin Farina of 1954 and arriving until the Lagonda M45 Rapide of 1934.
